The Club consistently goes above and beyond in its approach to the development and support of local community groups. Currently, the Cambridge Street entrance is closed due to upgrades again to assist cater to our patrons. Three Function rooms catering trivial groups (meetings) to important groups (parties). Prior the meeting closed, it was decided that a meeting receive store the succeeding Sunday for the purpose of looking for a relevant site for the Club. There was an option on Merrylands Park where the council had made provision for a two green bowling area. All did not go smoothly however, as a visit from an Inspector of Building placed a stop building order and other plans had to be made. Their rendezvous was the newly constructed green and rooms of Merrylands Bowling Club LTD which was to be officially opened that afternoon. A month later the beginning Annual Meeting was held. Club Merrylands Group has a vast variety of services and facilities available to all members. Supports community welfare and social services community development employment assistance activities community health services and projects aimed at improving the living standards of low income and disadvantaged people. Supporting our community has been a proud tradition of Club Merrylands Bowling. Enjoy a day of fun and your chance to relive worn memories enjoy billy tea and damper with a dash of cockier’s joy, the hospitable fire or simply relax in the country new air and enjoy the beautiful views over the Blue Mountains. Succeeding lunch, we travel to Clubs War Memorial Museum for a speedy visit before rejoining the coach and heading to the outstanding Japanese Gardens. Appreciate a stroll in the gardens with an option to have a look in the Gardens Art Gallery before boarding for departure. Catering huge acts, morning tea and prizes. For both members and guests it is so easy to be a part of the fun! Our members only promotion provides the opportunity for you to be our hot seat player with a chance of winning up to 500 in cash. Bonus points can be redeemed for Eftpos Gift cards or on food, beverages and Bowls shop items in the Club. Barbecue meals are cooked new to order for you while you wait as healthy as gourmet pizzas. Once known as the club's bistro, the newly renovated cafe is a fresh food outlet that is a breath of fresh air for diners. Merrylands Bowling Club is providing an excellent opportunity for your school children to thrive and succeed academically and in sport. To illustrate our commitment to the development of young people in our community we have also developed an advanced scholarship scheme. Play in Club Bowls events where available.
